As the match got going, Sevenoaks took an early lead and the score grew until tea in Sevenoaks favour until their advantage reached 43-63, a 20 point lead. Things did not seem to going for BBA and it was a huge turnaround when our triple that was losing the most picked up an 8 and other triples also started turning things round and the match score changed and BBA found themselves with an 82-80 lead. The score then went one way then the other in a very competitive end to the match and when the last triple started their final end, the match score was 100-100. The players had a huge audience for their final end and in a very exciting climax BBA picked up a 3 and won the match 103-100. Congratulations to all BBA players who made this a terrific win. BBA’s top triple was that of Glynis Atkins, Geoff Bell and skipped by Robin Gordon. They won by 26-7. A great performance.
