Adur had competitive club games during the morning and we were asked to put the start time for this game back to 3 pm. We had some late withdrawals so it was good that the game started not long after 3.00pm. We must thank Adur for helping us out and they welcomed us warmly. BBA got off to a fine start and led the way. It was not long however before Adur started to show experience and good form and then built a lead. BBA were not able to keep with Adur who are one of the stronger clubs on the south coast. It looked as if BBA would suffer a heavy defeat but a late rally closed the gap with BBA winning on two rinks. The match ended with a defeat by some 121- 74. Our best triple was that of Janet Mills, John Walton and a guest Adur player, Len Ashby, so many congratulations to them.
