Horsham welcomed us on a beautiful day to their very quick green for a match contested over 5 rinks.
Catering is always good at Horsham and the food before the game was up to the usual high standard.
The match score was even from the start and BBA often had a narrow lead but that swung both ways and it was not easy to predict the final outcome; eventually the game ended in a hard-fought draw 95-95 but BBA finished winning 4 rinks to one so it was a very satisfactory afternoon.
BBA top rink was Denis Robinson, Sandie Weaver, Ron Webb and Colin Watson who won by a score of 25-18. Well done to them but in a game so close, everyone should be congratulated as every contribution counted.
After the game, we were treated to a lovely salad meal which completed a very enjoyable afternoon.
