After a few dropouts , Grattons helped us by lending us two players to make a game of four rinks, Grattons had extra players and were able to put out an additional rink and one of these internal teams was allocated to BBA however the score on this additional rink was so close it did not influence the match result.
BBA was warmly welcomed and there was a good atmosphere for the game. The game started in a very competitive manner and in the early ends both sides scored at a fairly level rate and going to tea at halfway BBA held a narrow 2 shot lead. Things changed however after tea when Grattons piled on the pressure and began to pull away eventually winning by 115-72 and winning on every rink. BBA did have a rink that lost by the least and winning our top rink prize. That rink was Gill Azzopardi, Mark Broughton, Margaret Gordon and Robin Yetman.
