We travelled to Preston, Brighton for our annual fixture there.
As always there was a warm welcome from the Preston players and the game was played with a good sprinkling of lively banter, but competitively too.
The BBA got off to a good start and we were neck and neck at half time but the game then drifted away from us and we eventually lost 72-96, a deficit of 24 shots.
At half time our eventual top rink of Marjorie Caldwell, Tas Alder, John Mason and Carolyne Stevens were in last place, so this was a brilliant turnaround. Well done.
The meals both before and after the game were excellent and a very enjoyable afternoon indeed.
