BBA were warmly welcomed by Wealden and the game was marked by good humour and banter and was enjoyed by all.
Three of the rinks were very closely contested with only two shots being the largest winning margin but on one of the rinks, the home side had a particularly strong team and won by over 30 shots so the match was won by Wealden by 81-46
Our Junior Vice President, Glynis Atkins took the game for BBA and was part of our Best Rink which was Glynis Atkins, Mark Broughton, John Mason and Kim Robinson.
This was an enjoyable way to start our Indoor season despite the loss. Wealden were very accommodating hosts and it was a pleasure to see Mike Good turn up to see us before the game. Mike is working his way to full fitness and we hope to see him on the green at some stage this year.
It was also good to see Pamela Johns (widow of past BBA member Barry Johns) who always turns out to play against us.
